Role Overview:

This is a rare opportunity to be part of building Kai Collective’s menswear identity from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for designing collections that reflect our brand ethos while pushing the boundaries of modern menswear. You’ll work closely with our founder and creative team to conceptualise, design and bring to life collections that sit at the intersection of culture, fashion, and self-expression.

This is a freelance role with the potential to become full-time based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and interpret cultural movements, style trends, and customer insights to guide design direction.
  • Develop concepts, sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards for seasonal collections.
  • Design across categories such as ready-to-wear, tailoring, knitwear, and statement pieces, with a strong focus on prints and fabric innovation.
  • Source and develop fabrics, trims, and finishes that align with Kai’s design aesthetic.
  • Attend fittings and provide feedback to refine silhouettes, fit, and finish.
  • Ensure every collection feels uniquely Kai while appealing to the menswear market.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in menswear design (portfolio required).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD.

Key Responsibilities:

Shoot and Content Producer / Manager - Location: London / Full Time

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Shoot and Content Producer / Manager to join our creative team. This role is for someone who thrives both behind the scenes and on the front lines of content creation. You’ll not only lead the production of our campaign and social shoots, but also contribute to the day-to-day creation and posting of content especially on TikTok and Instagram, while engaging with our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end production process for campaign, brand, and social content from concept to shoot execution.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director and Photographer to bring creative direction to life.
  • Source and book locations, talent (models, UGC creators), HMUAs, stylists, assistants, and other crew as needed.
  • Manage all shoot logistics: call sheets, timelines, permits, catering, travel, and rentals.
  • Be present on set to ensure shoot days run smoothly, on time, and on budget.
  • Help organise and coordinate regular UGC shoots with our wider creative community.
  • Create and post TikTok and Instagram content regularly that feels native, on-brand, and culturally relevant.
  • Monitor comments and engage with our TikTok community to foster connection and brand love.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external collaborators and keep projects on track.
  • Maintain production budgets and negotiate rates where needed.

Role Overview:

This is a rare opportunity to define the footwear vision for a cult-loved brand. We want to create shoes that feel just as empowering and distinctive as our ready-to-wear - shoes that people want to live in, dance in, and be seen in. You’ll be responsible for the creative and technical design of Kai’s first footwear styles. From concept to sampling, you’ll work closely with the team to develop original, design-led shoes that combine comfort, function, and flair.

This is a fixed-term contract of 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of Kai Collective’s debut shoe styles.
  • Research trends, materials, and construction techniques to create forward-thinking, fashion-conscious footwear.
  • Produce initial concept sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings.
  • Develop tech packs with clear specifications for prototyping and production.
  • Sourcing materials and manufacturing partners. 
  • Review samples and refine designs based on fit, comfort, and feedback.

Fashion Video Editor - Location: Remote / London (freelance) | Type: Part‑time / Freelance

Role Overview:

This is a freelance / part‑time role focused on editing social media videos for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, adding a creative touch and ensuring our content resonates with our audience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with an eye for design and aesthetics, an incredible work ethic, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit short‑form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube from footage provided by the social media team.
  • Collaborate with the in‑house team to refine footage into engaging, on‑brand content.
  • Optimise each video for specific platforms (dimensions, music, captions, subtitles, duration).
  • Implement motion graphics and colour grading to enhance video quality.
  • Stay updated on social‑media video trends and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Ensure all video content is edited to brief, respecting budget and deadlines, and aligns with the Kai blueprint.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to guarantee product and message are presented optimally.

Must Haves:

  • Exceptional multitasking ability with outstanding organisational skills; able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and macOS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across editing, file management, colour grading, exporting, sound, and uploading.
  • Deep understanding of social‑media platforms to ensure full compatibility and performance.
  • Impeccable communication skills and a positive, dynamic response to change.
